In Search of the Lost chord

Advantages: Fantastic music
Disadvantages: Eventually, it stops...

I I think I found the lost chord. Many years ago, I got a copy of In Search of the Lost Chord. Did it change my life, for ever? Mmmm. Tough question. Because I think that the answer is, yes, it probably did. The Moody Blues was yet another of those fantastically innovative and inventive groups that came out of Birmingham. In fact, I would go out on a limb and say that, from the point of innovative, interesting music the hierarchy would be: Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Can I prove this? Birmingham brought us The Moody blues, The Move, ELO, The Applejacks, The Fortunes, Mike Sheridan and The Nightriders, Roy Wood's Wizard, The Spencer Davis Group, Black Sabbath, Traffic, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Band Of Joy and The Spencer Davis Group. And THAT's only those from the 1960s! Whereas Manchester had Freddie ...

In Search of Sunrise

Advantages: introducing his new style with some new beats
Disadvantages: not good for hardcore house and progrissive music listner.

In Search Of Sunrise 6 This Album is mixed by DJ Tiesto, the Famous No# 1 Holland's Trance DJ and producer of the world. He becomes a DJ because he liked to share music & his taste in music with other peoples around the world. I got this album few days back & got a bit disappointment comparing with its older version of In Search of sunrise 4 & 5 due to my own reason. I am more into different genres rather into trance and this album is a pure trance & electronic album, but all in all this album is an awesome release and a good choice for trance lovers. It is a Various Artists double CD album, and the CD cover looks just fine as they have only shown Tiesto sitting on a seat and watching on a side [look more like a drama CD hehe] rather then using bright colors or using any image relating to clubbing or Dance. If a person doesn ...

A child searches desperately for meaning

Advantages: well-written; creative style; sympathetic central character
Disadvantages: sensitive material makes for uncomfortable reading.

Inside the front cover is a map of the street in which the fictional character Jude lives. It is clearly a child's drawing and the straight(ish - no ruler) lines of the buildings suggest a strong desire to create an ordered, logical world. Interestingly, this is repeated on the back cover, perhaps suggesting that this childish desire persisted or was never resolved throughout Jude's life. This is understandable since the novel opens with the suicide of Jude's mother, who leaves a note explaining that she has gone 'in search of adam'. Jude does not know who Adam is or why her mother has done this, but she crawls into bed with her, letting her mother's sick pool in her own hair, and stays there until her father returns home ten hours later. This is just the beginning of Jude's trials; the novel begins in 1980 and covers the years in ...
