...about a girl who is in trouble and they are telling her they understand and can help her out. The song is quite slow. If you enjoy love songs you will enjoy this.
TRACK 2: Love On The Line
This was Blazin Squads second single. Though it didnt top the charts it still entered the top 10. The song is about how couples who are far away can keep in touch. This song is more for people who like pop-style songs.
TRACK ... ...are all about the music. In this song they talk about how other bands want to fight but for them its not about fighting its about the music. A great song with cool mcing.
TRACK 5: The Love Song
This song is obviously all about love but the lads havent done it in the genuine soppy love ballad way. Instead this is an up-tempo tune with a wicked chorus. This song is guaranteed to cheer you up.
Blazin Squad are a 10 man garage/pop crew who had a number 1 hit with the song "Crossroads" last year. From only just leaving school the boys have enjoyed phenomenal success!!!
There debut album "In The Beginning" is a mixture of slow and up-tempo tracks. Let me tell u all about it....
TRACK 1: I Understand At the beginning of this song the lads names are introduced one-by-one. This song is basically about a girl who is in trouble and they are telling her they understand and can help her out. The song is quite slow. If you enjoy love songs you will enjoy this.
TRACK 2: Love On The Line This was Blazin Squads second single. Though it didnt top the charts it still entered the top 10. The song is about how couples who are far away can keep in touch. This song is more for people who like pop-style songs.
TRACK 3: Crossroads This song stormed the charts in the summer of last year. It is probably the best known song on the album. The song is a cover of the 'Bone Thugs n Harmony' classic 'tha crossroads'. Crossroads is a great tune which i am sure you would all enjoy.
TRACK 4: All About The Music This song tells how Blazin Squad are all about the music. In this song they talk about how other bands want to fight but for them its not about fighting its about the music. A great song with cool mcing.
TRACK 5: The Love Song This song is obviously all about love but the lads havent done it in the genuine soppy love ballad way. Instead this is an up-tempo tune with a wicked chorus. This song is guaranteed to cheer you up.
TRACK 6: I Belong To You This song is about a girl who has left her boyfriend for another man and the man is tellin her that she belongs with him. Blazin Squads vocals are tested in this song and they come out on top.
TRACK 7: Standard Flow Blazin Squad released this song on the underground and it went straight to number 3. The song is a really fast tempo song with some good mcing. If you like garage tunes then maybe this is the song you would most enjoy listening to.
TRACK 8: Reminisce This is the latest song to be released by Blazin Squad. It double a-sides with 'Where The Story Ends'. Reminisce is a funky tune about summer love. I would recommend this song to anyone.
TRACK 9: Supastar This song is all about a boy telling a girl that she is his supastar. The song is one of the weaker songs on the album but it is still good. It is a very pop-py tune!!!
TRACK 10: Riders In this song the blazin boys talk about being superheroes and all of the things they would do. Blazin Squad mc at their best in this song. It is one of the best songs on the album.
TRACK 11: Where The Story Ends This song is about teenage troubles and the modern teenage society. It is beautifully written and is a really good tune. It double a-sided with 'Reminisce'.
HIDDEN TRACK: After 'Where The Story Ends' there is a hidden track called 'Play The Game'. This song is cool and up-tempo. There is no genuine theme to this song. This song is REALLY good and i think it is a shame that it is a hidden track instead of a proper track.
CONCLUSION ...........
Most people have branded Blazin Squad as a no-hope group full of spotty kids. If you are one of these people i think you should listen to their album. It will make you underrstand that these boys are talented and are going to go far.
Despite being gifted at mcing the boys can also sing really well. If you read the cover oif the album you will notice that the boys wrote most of the songs themselves.
Rubbish?? I THINK NOT Before you decide your view on Blazin Squad PLEASE listen to their album.
Advantages: Good songs.... good MCing Disadvantages: Too short
...This got to number 8 in the charts. This has a summery vibe ... 7/10
09. SUPASTAR
This has RnB vibe to it. It's not one of my favourites, but it easy to listen to. Krazy's voice sound great when he sings over the chorus... 8/10
10. RIDERS
One of my favourites, and one of the best songs on the album. Riders has a more Garage sound to it, just like STANDARD FLOW. Again the Blazers MCing skills excel here... 10/10
11. WHERE THE STORY ENDS
The ... ...FLOW everyone gets to MC on this track. This ends the album on a very high note. It has a slow beat, but i wouldn't really call it a ballad... 9/10
So there you go. For an album I would say it's quite a short album and could do with about 2 more tracks. After WHERE THE STORY ENDS, there is a hidden song called PLAY THE GAME. On this song they keep up their Garage sound. I love this song and is one of the best on the album... SO WHY IS IT HIDDEN ...

Advantages: Great to sing along to, great songs. Disadvantages: Too short
...They hit the scene back in the Summer of 2002, with their hit single 'Crossroads'. Blazin' Squad consists of 10 boys, aged between 17-19. Most people think of them as a 'group of spotty schoolboys'. I doubt their music would appeal to people over the age of 20, but I am under 20, so i wouldn't know. Most of their songs are a cross between So Solid Crew and Busted. Lyrics about girlfriends and parties, with rapping inbetween. The good thing about ... ...mellow track, just gets you in the mood.
Track 2: Love on the Line
Personally, I love this song. It was released, and got into the top 10. It's quite mellow again, and the song tells a story. Basically it's about a guy and girl who are separated, and yes, talk on the phone.
Track 3: Crossroads
The first song Blazin'released. Personally, this is not my favourite song of theirs, when it fist came out I didn't like it. It charted at No1. The song ...

Advantages: Brand new sound in the UK Disadvantages: Only 11 tracks :(
...They all grew up together in East London and all shared one love, and that was mc-ing. So,one day a mate of theirs was doing work experience at a local recording studios. They recorded a demo and became very successful on the underground with a track called, "Standard Flow", and bang..Blazin Squad were catapulted into the world of music.
The album is a wicked debut. Most people either love or hate Blazin Squad. But you can only say you hate something ... ...it then judge it.
The first track is I Understand, it's a mellow kinda chiiled out song, this is the same with I Belong to you, and Supastar. More garage and uptempo tracks such as Riders,Standard Flow and The Love Song are also great. Obviously there are the singles..Crossroads (a cover of the Bone Thugs N Harmony track) ,Love on the Line (a song they didnt want to record but did to get the ladies going to gigs) and a double a side Reminisce/Where ...

Advantages: Good range of urban pop tunes Disadvantages: couple of songs too fast to sing along to
...hard to sing along to in some songs but overall can do karaoke along with this album. The songs are all about teenage lads experiences with girls and school life. Most of the songs are written by blazin squad themself. The album has one cover track which was their debut single croosroads. It also includes their top ten singles reminsce, love on the line, and where the story ends. My favourite track is i understand because its catchy and about how ...

Advantages: Erm........cant name any Disadvantages: Where do I start??In the beginning perhaps
...thing we have ever had in our charts. In fact, it is a disgrace to the British music industry that they somehow mananged to get to number one. Having listened to the album, I noticed that the boys actually just start 'rapping' over melodies which all sound pretty much the same. The lyrics are also appauling. Take the song Reminisce for instance ' The back of a truck' 'The back of a What?' 'Yeh I said the back of a truck' - Hardly Shakespeare and ... ...Also in this song, they prove that they cant sing as the hit a very obvious dud note. It frankly shocks me that these boys are over the age of consent, let alone singing about getting jiggy with a young lady. On the positive side, maybe they will surprise us all by claiming that this album was all a joke and that they can actually sing. Sorry, if I have offended any Blazin Squad fans, but this is my true opinion and I would really recommend that ...
