Advantages: quirky, friendly, good food Disadvantages: small rooms, no tea and coffee tray
I like something a little bit different and out of the ordinary. When looking for accommodation for a night in Bruges in Belgium I stumbled across DeBarge ,which is a hotel in an old converted canal barge and immediately was drawn to it. It looked very cosy, quirky and more importantly was within our budget. My instincts were right. I am not a seasoned traveler and a night in a hotel is a bit of a treat for me so I wanted it to be fairly special. It seemed to have decent enough reviews on travel websites and a colleague had coincidentally recently spent a night at DeBarge and really sang its praises saying it was ?the best hotel she had ever stayed at?. After this recommendation I immediately booked DeBarge for one night midweek in late June. I booked our room, a double cruise cabin online using Booking.com, which was easy to use ...
Advantages: A few big tunes Disadvantages: Inconsistent
Younger brother to the members of the Motown act DeBarge, Chico DeBarge is an R&B singer from Detroit, Michigan. He?s worked solo since 1986 and by 2008 he had released ?Addiction? as his sixth album. In spite of having no mainstream success and infrequent album releases, he has remained heavy in the game, keeping to what he knows in the Quiet Storm end of R&B and Soul.
1. ?Addiction Meeting? (Intro)
2. ?Nefertiti/Center Of The Universe?
He begins the album with a slow and seductive tune that seems to bring in a lot from the period when he started his career and the time when his brothers were most active. It is one that will appeal to those who enjoy the sort of contemporary material that is based solely around styles that haven?t seen any mainstream attention since they initially immerged from around the seventies and through ...
Advantages: Weather, diving, friendliness, hotel stds and price Disadvantages: Adjusting to Arab culture and being pestered
I have recently returned from Naama Bay in Sharm el Shiekh which could possibly be the best value dive resort in the world.
This review is actually of Naama Bay the area itself and what it has to offer.
I must quantify this by stating that the diving/snorkelling is my own personal experience. Personally I could never just go and lie on a beach for more than an hour or two (and 2 hours would need a very very good book!). The 'bucket and spade brigade' info is feedback from friends I have recommended this resort to.
I have been there 13 times and plan to continue going back. I know, there are many people (including myself before I went there) who cannot imagine going back to the same resort but Naama Bay really is different.............................. Honest (and I don't mean cause it's been bombed! but more on the terrorist ...

Rolling Stone (5/28/92, p.55) - 3 Stars - Good - "...defies all expectations...you surrender to the sheer wash of sound...The thread running through it all is El's falsetto, still God's gift, yet older and wiser..."
