Advantages: Thought provoking at times, quality lyrics and some good points Disadvantages: Repetitive sound sometimes through the album

This were their 2nd release before the album and did make it quite big but failed to gain as much success as the first single. The tune does have quite a different sound, quite happy and quite sort of geezer type.
It isn't heavy with the drums in fact, chooses to use a chord bouncing through the tune giving it that geezer drop-the-shoulder sort of bounce and rhythm.
Again the lyrics talk about him and The Streets. It could get boring and even I believe that being a fan of The Streets but it's the order in which he puts his lyrics and choices of rhymes that makes me smile or if not this then want to rap along with him.

Advantages: Street Life's spectacular lyricism is stellar like A STAR and IS BORN within each song. Disadvantages: Filler songs with atrocious beats that make my ears HUNG in THESE hideous STREETS!

Advantages: Completely Original Disadvantages: None whatsoever compulsive listening

I call them a collective, as to refer to them as a band in my opinion would not be a fitting title; as far as I know The Streets consists of two main people, but they have other people featuring on their tracks. Not guest performances, just other members of their ‘collective’, a bit like So Solid Crew. This reference to So Solid Crew is purely for explanatory purposes, The Streets should in no way be compared to So Solid Crew in terms of music or style!
The Streets have recently been hailed with critical acclaim from numerous musical magazines and press for this album – I just hope that this doesn’t result in the usual outcome of overexposure, commercialism, and change in style and quality of the artist for the sake of making mega-bucks!
