I have to confess that I'm totally unfashionable. I've been a Barry Manilow fan since I was 6 years old and I got a Greatest Hits collection for Christmas! This newer collection released in March 2004 has pretty similar material to be honest, even though it's twice as long. It's more convenient than my old vinyl though. Here's the track listing. 1. Swing OUT

Advantages: In theory it's versatile
Disadvantages: In practice it's useless s a toddler swing

In a parent's quest to find products and toys that will last longer than the average 6 month period that seems to be the norm with children's stuff I happened upon the Hedstrom 2 in 1 swing. At the time my 9 month old son loved swings and would squeal with delight as soon as he was sat in one and we decided to get one for our garden. I was taken by the idea of this swing as it combines a baby swing with a grown up swing allowing you to change both the seat and the height of the swing to adapt as your child grows. Priced no differently from the standard swings that I could see at the time I thought that this would be a better investment than purchasing a standard swing and then having to find a baby seat. Barry Manilow's Copacabana

Advantages: Brings back the memories of the show, great if you havn't

Barry Manilow's Copacabana was welcomed with great enthusiasm when it hit the West End as a Musical. I was lucky enough to see this musical and it has gone down with me as one of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a few. You may wonder how a song like Copacabana could be made into a musical, but with over 2 and a half hours of great music, Copacabana was just the tip of the Iceberg. The music in this show was full of energy, humour, some of the times the songs were sad but all in all this CD captures every musical gift that Copcabana had to offer, if you havn't seen the show it doesn't matter, this CD brings to the imagination the storyline as each record is played in sequence to that of the musical.
