Jessica simpson? isnt she that overly-stupid blonde bimbo who cant tell the difference between tuna and chicken? Listen to her lastest offering,In this skin and you'll realise that perhaps,you thought wrong! Jessica,who co-wrote the album herself provides us with catchy,romantic,girly songs and throws in a powerful and exceptional voice which could quite literally move mountains. For whose who have watched Newlyweds and percieved her as 'dumb' will be very surprised by this album,as you see a totally different side to Jessica,she is clearly very inlove which may not come off strong enough on the tv and prooves herself worthy to compete with the "hot shots" like Britney and Christina. For those who like romance,this album is definatly for you,songs such as "With you" and "underneath" will melt you heart and make you realise as Jessica says herself shes just a simple"southern girl"who has clearly found enjoyment in writing about her experiences of falling in love saying that "with nothing but a t-shirt on"shes never felt more beautiful. Familiar songs such as 'Angels' and 'Take my breath away' feature on the album and are both sung with orginality and power,providing the reason as to why Jessica secured a record deal at the age of 14. Whether you love or hate Jessica,on listening to this album you have to admit she has talent and alot of it,If Britney was a hamburger,Jessica is a big BIG mac! All the songs that feature on the album are catchy and have likeable qualities about them,some of my favourites include "In this skin" which teaches you to be happy with the person you are and that you should be comfortable and love the skin your in and that everyone has flaws and perfection is not everything.This song boosts your self confidence and instantly perks you up. Another favourite is 'With you",the 1st realease from the album which describes the way love makes you feel amazing and how you can trust that person,let your hair down and truly be yourself,This song gives confidence to girls who dont believe in themselves or think they are worthy enough to be loved, Jessica says that "With nothing but a t-shirt on"shes never felt so beatiful,meaning that you can be the simple person you are and you will be loved the way you are,like Nick loves her. This album is romantic and proof that Jessica is more than meets the eye and deserves to be noticed for her obvious and creative talent.

hmmmmm, Im not to keen on her. I liked her latest release but pop really isnt my thing. I did she her in the newlyweds a few times and she seemed nice- if not a tad annoying! Lisa
