I bought this album around Christmas 2003. I'll admit I'd only heard a few tracks before my purchase.

You can listen to this album from start to finish without skipping a song at all. Even the unfavourable songs are listenable to. The first song is man on the moon. Good choice. A catchy anthem we all love.

My favourite song hast to be 'The sidewinder sleeps tonite.' That's not a spelling mistake. Its they way they actually spell it. On this track you get a fab chorus some great verses & great lyrics which bring out the best of Michael Stipe's voice.

After listening to this album you will probably learn that there is more to REM than Losing my religion & the overplayed Everybody hurts.
