Advantages: delivers some awesome songs and an overall great sound Disadvantages: a few bad songs thrown in
...the best in town is the second full album released by the welsh post hardcore band , the blackout. Having listened to the previous album i had high hopes for the album although this is the first album on their new record label Epitah so my concern was that they would keep the right formula. The unique 6 member band fshowcase welsh talent for post hardcore rock music, their real unique feature is that of two singers for screaming and melodies which adds up to a very polished and individual sound.
This album , the best in town proves to me that the success of the first full album was no fluke delivering a powerfull sound with heavy guitar riffs and scorching screamo amongst the melodic singing. Advantages: Great lyrics and some wonderful tracks Disadvantages: It was all downhill from here

Advantages: A great chill out album, perfect for summer evenings Disadvantages: Very similar songs, not much variation

I had never heard of Jack Johnson prior to In Between Dreams. A few months ago, my aunt purchased this CD that she was incredibly excited about. So she popped it in his CD player while we were driving and I was treated to my first meeting with Jack. Cool, mellow, simple Jack.
Since that first listen, I guess you could say that I've been somewhat immersed in a world of soothing melodies...
