Until recently, I had never seen or heard of this book, but it has proved quite a hit with the young children I teach. The author is the creator of Bob the Builder, and one of my favourite books, The crunching Munching caterpillar, so I am surprised I had never heard of it.
The book is a ?touchy feely? kind of book, in that the spider?s web and the threads which attach his web to various objects are silver and are slightly raised from the page, to give them an almost glittery effect- very popular with young children.
The story starts with the spider merrily spinning his web, when a gust of wind blows him out of the barn.
So starts his adventure, as the wind blows him onto different animals; a pink pig, a grey goat, a black and white cow, a duck, a brown horse and finally a cockerel. When he finally lands ...

As a family we love books and bedtime is one of our favourite times to read with our son.
My son loves singing, he will sing all day every day so when his nanna bought him this book for christmas we knew it was going to be a big hit!
**The Book**
The covers to this book are a strong hardback, on the front cover is a picture of IncyWincySpider along with 10 little plastic spider buttons which come in the colours red, blue and green.
As you go through the book you will see that each of the spiders are glued on to a page, when you open the book you will see 10 circular holes on the cover and throughout the book where the little spiders fit in.
As you turn the pages the number of spiders and holes will decrease until there are none left, the pages inside the book are made of thin cardboard which is perfect for small ...
the voice from Cathy Bates, Robert Redford gives the voice to Ike the horse, John Cleese gives the voice to Samuel the sheep and the main character Charlotte the spider has the wonderfully beautiful voice of Julia Roberts.
Charlotte?s voice is perfectly done by Julia Roberts and it really does suit the portrayal of the charter in question wonderfully close to the original. Charlotte is the saviour of the story really as the plot carries on with the farm animals setting about saving Wilbur?s bacon! They tell him he can expect to be served up on the table at Christmas time but Wilbur?s wish to see snowfall is something that they all want him to achieve. Charlotte sets about coming up with a plan so that the humans spare him and he can live to see the following spring.
