Advantages: Harrison Ford, classic Indy humour and tension, the music Disadvantages: That ending!
Let's get one thing straight from the start. I'm a huge fan of Indiana Jones. Always have been. I think the original trilogy of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and the Last Crusade are cinematic genius. That hat, that music, Harrison Ford...love it all.
For years there were rumours of an "Indy IV". Scripts came and went, everyone seemed to be on board but it was all about finding the right script. Then one day, they had it. And the hype began. I was very excited, devouring Empire every month to see what news there was. Finally, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released...and reactions were mixed, It was reported to be "definitely Indy" but also there was something not right. My son had his birthday coming up and my mum asked me what he would want for a present from her. I remembered him pointing out the Indiana Jones 12 inch talking figure while browsing through an Argos catalogue not long before and seeing as he is a huge Indiana Jones fan and the fact he had pointed it out before, I asked my mum if she would like to buy it for him,and she said yes.So that is how my son came to be in possession of a talking Indy..
So after removing Indiana Jones from the box my son was eager to try out the talking feature. underneath Indy's shirt which comes as half fastened style you will see a speaker on his chest or probably just below if we're gonna be completely accurate, and located just below the speaker is a button. It's just above the belt area and is square.
So what does he say?
