Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Soundtrack

Advantages: A good soundtrack,as a standalone or to accompany the fantastic film: Bridget Jones
Disadvantages: The geri halliwell track

...A very quirk and fun soundtrack (with a film to match) I really enjoyed listening to this soundtrack,It took you through a wide range of emotions and feelings from more laid back tracks such as gabrielles - out of reach,to the more upbeat and positively poppy sounding its raining men (by geri heliwell) Even if you have never seen Bridget Jones this is still an album you should buy,it has all the great songs on under one roof. You can pick it up for about a fiver now which for 19 songs is pretty good value I think. Definately not an album you will regret buying, I think every song has been carefully picked and used,from artful dodgers woman trouble to the pretenders dont get me wrong,this soundtrack has alot to offer and much more. Advantages: good mixture of songs
Disadvantages: a few bad songs but that is just personal taste

...This as you would have already guessed is the soundtrack from the hit film Bridget Jones Diary. All the songs contained in the album feature in the film in some way. There are 19 tracks on this soundtrack. Some of the artists are current big names like Robbie Williams, Geri Halliwell and Gabrielle. However it isnt just recent hits that star in this but some of the older hits that carry on today. There is a good mixture of ballads for when she is feeling really down and more upbeat tunes for when she isnt going to let life get her down anymore. Gabrielle with out of reach headlines this album. She had a comeback this year after a longtime off. She started off with her hit song Dreams but then just fizzled out. Advantages: Great variety: well known hits, beautiful songs and amazing covers
Disadvantages: Last two songs are a fairly boring

...In my opinion, if you loved the film, you will love the soundtrack! I thought the covers on this album were brilliant, such as Will Young's version of Your Love Is King, and Mary J Blige's version of Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word. Some of the songs on this album are very "mushy", but personally I see this as a bonus (let's face it, the film is pretty mushy and girly but that's what we love about it) and there are some more uplifting, upbeat songs, such as I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness. The highlight of the album in my opinion, is I Eat Dinner. It is such a beautiful song and I'm so glad they included it in both the film and the soundtrack.
