Advantages: very well acted Disadvantages: may be too slow paced for some
Possibly the best film about a 70's Scandinavian hippy commune ever made (probably the only one ever to be made), 'Together' is one of the finest pieces of Swedish cinema you'll ever see (and only one ABBA song to boot).
A subtle film where you'll see no guns, bombs or explosion, it centres on 'Tillsammans' (literally 'Together' in Swedish), a community of free-thinking individuals. A fragmented bunch involving two couples, one separated couple, a political fanatic and a gay man (as well as a child called 'Tet' named after the Vietnam War offensive), the community drink, smoke, eat vegetable stew and talk Marxism. Meat is banned, whilst nudity is acceptable (providing there is a fungal infection present...).
The main character, nice-guy Goran (Gustaf Hammarsten), receives a phone call one day from his sister Elizabeth (Lisa ...
Advantages: Origional music Disadvantages: Not famous enough
Anouk Stotijn-Teeuwe better known as "Anouk" is a famous Dutch singer, who has risen to fame throughout the European Charts, but in my mind is still not famous enough for her talents.
She was born on 8th April 1975. Her mother is a famous blues singer and inspired Anouk's born talents to sing. Anouk has gone from writing songs and singing at weddings and parties in a band named "Shotgun Wedding".
After meeting Bart van Veen in September 1997 - her new so - writer - then launched a single (Her second - the first being "Mood Indigo") named "Nobody's wife" - the first song in this album. It stayed in the charts for a number of weeks and eventually led to the start of her famous singing career and her first album - "Together Alone".
Together Alone in Anouk's first Album, released on the 24th October 1997. It is a new style ...
Advantages: Fun, Original gameplay. Good value. Disadvantages: Graphics could be better, You feel like a bit of a fool at first.
At first i wasn't sure.
The Nintendo Wii is designed mainly for people to play together (hence the name)...yet frankly i thought i'd feel like a bit of a prat holding a TV remote-esque item and pretending it was a tennis racket.
And i was right...until my second or third game when I was hooked!
The Wii's unique remote makes playing games simple for new players and new and exciting for old players.
It is easy for both the young and old to join in with games since there are no complicated button combinations to remember or intimidating control instructions.
For example in the Wii-Sports Bowling game you swing the remote backwards like you would to bowl the ball, and release a button as you swing forward at the point that you would usually let go of the ball.
Its simplicity is the key to how fun it is.
Of course there are more ...
