Advantages: you're in hospital being monitored Disadvantages: it can be scary and pain can be instant
ladies be rushed away for emergeny sections after having inductions in which their babies became distressed.
At 2pm I was put on the monitor and for 30 minutes, the baby was monitored.
Then at 2.30pm I had an internal examination. I had never had one before so I wasn't relaxed which meant it was painful. The gel was inserted and afterwards I had to lie on my side for 30 mins. During this time I had severe probs as my bowels decided that it was time to empty themselves, but I maanged to hold on!
At 3pm, I popped to the loo, and then went back on the monitor for another 30 minutes.
After that was up I was encouraged to be as mobile as possible. The pain was like period pains which as the time went on became worse. I had a bath which didn't really help and then kept moving. I also couldn't face eating and sitting down was ...
Advantages: at least the waiting is over Disadvantages: dont expect it to be a quick labour
out with this hoover type contraption was not strong enough, and so two male doctors came to assist, all three of them tugging at me, it may have been a funny sight if it hadnt been so painful.
about 35 hours since it started, my little boy was born, a whopping 9lb 1oz - my only question was should all this have been necessary? - I'm not saying for one minute that a caesarian is an easy option, but I think it would have been better for me, the number of stitches I needed down there afterwards, was enough to convince me of that. I'm sorry if anyone reading this is a first time expectant mother, its not meant to frighten, but if given the option, I wouldnt recommend an induction just because youre tired of being pregnant and want to see your baby. ...
Advantages: Fast, efficient and clean - a great way to cook Disadvantages: You must use the right pans on it
If you want a responsive, fast and efficient cooker hob then look no further than this little induction hob. I have to admit I was really curious when I saw it advertised in the Scotts of Stow catalogue as I hadn't really heard of induction hobs although I had seen one demonstrated on QVC a little while ago which had intrigued me. This hob was around half the price of the QVC one at just £29.99 so I was keen to find out more and, being something of a gadget freak, that meant doing a bit of research first to see what induction cooking was all about.
Let me stress here that I am not a scientist so for the purists amongst you I accept that my explanation may leave something to be desired but it made sense to me so I hope it will be understandable to others. Basically an induction hob is an electrically powered cooker hob but it is ...
Quite different to "Remedy" and "Rooty" but in a good way, shows they are trying something different, some very catchy songs but also has a few chill out tunes.
Not many quirky tunes they are so well known for. (*)
