...I love this cd. It has old skool and new skool songs on it which i love! The way the cut up boys remix the most unlikely songs together is amazing, i think they are brilliant!! I bought this cd as soon as it came out and was not dissappointed! I had to blast it as loud as i possibly could immediatly!! Anyone who loves dance music will love this album. I would definatly recommend buying this album, even paying the full price! I think the choice of songs are really good and remixed into a song you wouldnt of expected, which i love! This cd is worth buying,garantee you will like it and not be dissapointed. I bought this cd from HMV for roughly £13. Exellent idea of a mash up mix cd.... Read review

...Shystie aka Chanelle Calica grew up in Hackney and is the queen in the urban music sceen in the UK. If you have not heard her music you may recognise her from "Dub plate drama" or the recent film "Adulthood" playing the character Lisa. The album "Diamond in the dirt" has a mixed variety of music. For some reason being a female and an MC doesn't seem to mix in the eyes of a male. But Shystie proves that females are just as good if not better when it comes to lyrcis creative style and sound. Fighting in the girls corner with "womens world" shows the integrity and intelligence of this woman and at the same time is able to bring comedy into the equation. ...this is my most rescent buy of a house compilation and it is the best of them all it is very well mixed by andy farley and lisa pin up.both cds start off very well but as you get further into the album you start to get bored with some of the songs featured usually i like to be able to dance all the way through an album but this is not one of them. this is the best album i have for the mixing all the songs fit together very well and you dont jump from extreme to extreme with the tracks like i have heard on some other albums.also if you do purchase dont bother listening to the middles of either album they both start and finish well but there is only one good song in the middle of the two albums and that is mind body and soul....
