Advantages: Good as a travel system Disadvantages: Not great as a pushchair
~*~*~INTRODUCTION~*~*~
My husband and I had been married a month when we found out I was expecting. We were over the moon but realised it didn't really give us chance to save. We decided early that we would opt for a travel system as it would save buying a car seat and a pram.
We looked around Mothercare and Babies'r'us at all the different options, the prices still seemed quite high so we looked at the old faithful, the Argos catalogue. We saw the Mamas and Papas Aria, it came as a pushchair on its own for £99.99, or along with the Primo Viaggio and Mamas and Papas accessories for £129.99. We decided to go for it as a package, again saving money.

-Suitable from birth to 3 years.
-Floating 5 point harness, allowing the child to move around. This is fine for a toddler, but not so much ...
Advantages: Light weight, compact Disadvantages: didnt like the harness
I am a self confessed pramaholic - but i have to say that this is one of my favourites!!
It is lightweight and folds so compactly! It is great for small boots of public trasport.
The shopping basket is HUGE! You can get loads in!
The seat itself is nice and spacious and most importantly comfortable!
The accessories that you can get are also great!
Mamas and Papas are a well known brand and the aria is a great addition!
When you first get it, it does take a bit of putting together - although this is only putting the wheels on! These can be taken off again if need be by squeezing the underneath of them (I sold one of the 2 that I had and got it back in the original box with the wheels successfully removed!)
I love the fact that you can get a car seat attached to it, making a great lightweight travel system.

Advantages: Monthly interest, easy to transfer Disadvantages: Transfers take too long to clear, disappointing rates of interest for existing customers
I have held accounts at ING for several years now, after being recommended by an independent financial advisor. At the time the rates were quite high (around 6%) and it made sense to take advantage of them.
Unfortunately now the credit crunch has hit hard, interest rates are ridiculously low and I've withdrawn all my funds from ING as the savings rates on offer right now are not good enough.
ING direct is quite a good account if you can get the new customer bonus interest rate. 2.75% for instant access with no penalties is not a fantastic rate but it is one of the best on the market today. At 3% the cash ISA is also one of the most competitive rates, again if you're a new customer.
If you are an existing customer it's a different story. 0.50% on the basic savings account and 1.49% on the Cash ISA. The catch with the ISA is if ...
