Advantages: Sweet Folk Songs, Perfect Chill Out Music Disadvantages: None unless you don't like folk
...First of all, let me just say that tunng are a fantastic band who really deserve great success,
they take beautiful folk music and give it an electronic twist with the use of laptops and other experimental electronic devices!
Fantastic production provided by the multi talented lead singer, provides them with the finished article that they want, which is a bonus for all concerned.
this album truly is a must for lovers of folk music who are not scared to hear a few electronic bleeps and buzzes.
Standout tracks ' Woodcat' and 'Jenny Again' are fantastically produced and listening to them on headphones is where you will grasp how much production work goes into a tunng album.
Truly an album which in time will be appreciated more and more.
Overall: a great piece of work, fantastic collaboration of acoustic and electronic...

Advantages: Beautiful, thoughtful lyrics and powerful, soulful vocals Disadvantages: None
....
Stacie has always said that she was influenced by soul singers and, following her break from music, she has returned with a soulful sound that is more true to her roots. She has found her sound and has, in her own words, got an album that she is now genuinely proud to share with the world. I was amazed and incredibly impressed with her soulful sound and the clear innerbeauty she transpired at her gig and, happily, this pop/soul album does not disappoint. Stacie has an incredible voice and this album is full of inspiring, moving and heartfelt songs that will uplift, reassure and, at times, even give you pause for thought.
SO SIMPLE is the first track on Stacie's album and also my favourite. The track begins the album with the beautiful, soulful sound that is carried on throughout. This is a track that genuinely means a lot to Stacie...

But, for some reason, I have not gone along with the tastes of the mass audiences. Instead I like the more relaxing tones of indie-like bands such as the Divine Comedy and blur and a bit of rock in the likes of Queen and Bon Jovi. One band, however, takes preference over all other. They are, of course, the Beautiful South.
The Beautiful south have been around for a long, long time. They came into existence in 1989 after the brake of The House...
