Advantages: excellent performances from Iggy Pop in concert Disadvantages: bizarre song order and variable recording quality
a wilder affair, - Punk had gripped Europe by now and Iggy's first European dates were greeted with messianic fervour. The tour ended up back in the states at the end of the year.
TV Eye 1977Live is a short document of those two tours, four tracks from each. The March dates are better recorded than the October tracks which are only of good bootleg standard - odd on an official release. But don't let that put you off. The four Bowie backed songs are excellent, from the opening roar of "TV Eye" - a rendition which equals the Fun House original - via a slightly ragged "Funtime" through an astonishingly good "Dirt", full of fire and anger, to the concluding "I Wanna Be Your Dog" which is superb apart from the affling decision to fade out just at the conclusion!
The October 1977 tracks are not as impressive, partly due to the poorer quality ...

Advantages: Shows Williams at the top of his form as regards the Harry Potter series Disadvantages: With so much new material, the old themes have been almost completely omitted
After a year-long break in 2003, Williams returned with the third installment of the Harry Potter saga with renewed energy. His third Harry Potter score proved that Williams could still write music that can be original and extremely good. After the rehash of The Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban breaths new life into the music of Williams, featuring a more serious approach and almost completely devoid of the usual kiddie type music. At the core of the music is the song "Double Trouble" that is sung by a children's choir in a very unprofessional sounding way. The lyrics are taken from Shakespeare's Macbeth and further emphasises the medieval nature of the music's style that includes many ancient instruments courtesy of the Dufay Collective. This medieval approach greatly enhances the wintry atmosphere ...
