Mnay people may not agree with my opinion but I believe that at the moment they are the best band around and have been for some time now. I also hope they will continue to be for some time now.
My fav. Green Day album is Insomniac. It is their fourth album out. Most people tend to say that Dookie is their best album and it is the most popular. When I first started listening to Green Day it was my favourite album that was out. Now my fav is Insomniac. This is because it is so much harder and faster than all of their other albums. The guitar playing in it is excellent.
There best songs on it are Geek stink breath, brain stew and walking contradiction.
Other Green Day albums include; 1,039/smoothed out slappy hours, Kerplunk, Dookie, Nimrod and Warning.
I would also advise anyone to go and see them live because they have so much energy and great crowd interaction. They rock in a major way. Hopefully Reading festival will still be on this year because they have just been confirmed.
