Advantages: Low key background music Disadvantages: none, really
...I have to admit firstly to being a Morse fan, and that was what made me buy this album.
But the truth is I play it now because its just great background music.
I spend a lot of time working on my own and therfore like to play music in the background, however many types of music become intrusive on your work but not this.
Obviously when the made these tracks for the TV programme they wanted music to set the modd rather than dominate, and tthats exactly what this album does. During period when I have a lot of work to get through I put this on and I am positve that my work rate goes up, as it seems to set a calming mood and help me concentrate.
Im afraid I know nothing about clasical music but if you did its unlikely you would want this CD, but as an gentle introduction I think it serves very well....

...This truely is the best Tvsoundtrack available in the shops to buy. With the Buffy theme to start with there are great songs that have never been released as singles and some that have been. All the songs have been in 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' seasons 1-4 including songs by Garbage, Hepburn, and Four Star Mary. My favourite track on the album has to be 'Already Met You' by Superfine. Rasputina also have a great track with 'Transylvanian Concubine' which Drusilla danced to in 'Innocence'. The only thing that lets the soundtrack down is thats they have the Buffy/Angel Love Theme at the end of the album, but you can put up with it. If you haven't got it yet get down the shops and buy it....

Advantages: Great songs Disadvantages: Lack of well-known artists may put some people off.
...The soundtrack to the OC has always been one of the major selling points of the television series. This CD features 12 of the tracks found on the soundtrack of the television series.
The CD includes the hugely popular theme song "California" by Phantom Planet as well as other songs from the series. My personal favourites include Alexi Murdoch's "Orange Sky" and the brilliant "We Used To Be Friends" by the Dandy Warhols.
The mixture of styles of music makes for a unique CD, and the songs all fit perfectly into the album.
This CD is essential for any fan of the television series and the songs will bring back memories of some of the show's most memorable moments. Highly recommended...
