I could shorten this by saying "read this book you won't be disappointed" however as we don't all like the same thing I had better give you a conventional review. This book was also recommended by Ruth Cole another member of Ciao. My wife also loved this so much that one morning, when she couldn't sleep she got up at 5.30 am to read this book.
What's it all about?
The story is about sibling rivalry, love and the effect it has on the life of Dominick, twin brother of Thomas, a paranoid schizophrenic. Dominic is in his own words "Running interference" for Thomas. He has to suffer embarrassment at school and cover for his brother's increasingly eccentric behaviour. He is given the burden of being responsible for his brother, which he resents. His mother treats Thomas differently because ...
