Green day, they have sold millions of record’s, they have a record for the most listened to song in the world, they have proved many critics wrong and they have outlived all expectations and yet in the U.K you can bet that they are still treated as a second class group because of Britain’s pop industry. But I know that we are all ready for the revolution THIS ONCE GREAT POP-NATION WILL BE BROUGHT DOWN TO IT’S KNEES BY US, THE PUNK’S, THE GOTH’S AND THE MOSHERS.

The sweaty masses will rise, the revolution will take place and way back in 1997 I became part of that revolution, I was playing on Micro Machines ‘96 in my kitchen, when my sister came in and started to cook she asked if she could put some music on I said fine and then she took out a CD case with a high school photo on it and the face being covered with a yellow circle and the word ‘Nimrod’ in the middle of it, she skipped to track 18 and the cords of a guitar could be heard the guitar player tries to get this note twice and then say’s ‘f**k’ and then he starts to play the sweetest melody which just took over my soul, and then after that song I asked my sister what the tune was and she told me it was ‘Good Riddance by Green Day’ and at that moment I joined the revolution and I listened to the whole album loving every single song especially Prosthetic Head, The Grouch and Good Riddance

And I have only started to speak out since I bought Green Day’s ‘International Superhits’ and how it flopped in the UK chart because of those crap Pop bands like Westlife, 3SL, A1 and all those other pieces of poo apart from allstars because I fancy all of them (apart from the lads). Anyway INTERNATIONAL SUPERHITS WILL BE THE STARTING POINT OF THE REVOLUTION, THE POSTION THIS ALBUM GOT IN THE CHARTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN NUMBER ONE AND THE POP INDUSTRY WILL PAY DEARLY FOR THIS and as I tell you about the best album in the world either download Kazaa and then on that download Good Riddance or if you already got Kazaa then download Good Riddance.

Maria

This is the first song on the album and it is a brand new song, it is about Maria which I think symbolises Punk and it goes on about what punk is about and just like the rest of the album it is top class

Poprocks and coke

This is just a nice and simple song about some one being there for someone else, I think that Billie Joe Armstrong was writing this about his son or daughter

Longview

This is the first of five songs off the Dookie album, and it’s all about MASTURBATION, that’s right kids all you under twelve’s are going to have to look forward to all the stuff which Mr Armstrong talks about in this song, it really is just all about a teenage life and to be fair it describes my teenage life ‘smoking my inspiration’ if you know what I mean

Welcome to paradise

This song is about someone moving out into there new flat, and in the last stanza the song says that his housing is quite nice but it took sometime for him to get used too, it isn’t the best lyrics wise but it’s got a bitchen tune to it

Basket Case

One of Green days most well known songs and out of all the single releases it is one of my least favourite, it is over rated and other songs on that album surpass it in many ways, the song it self is good but for some reason people think it is the best punk song of all time

When I come around

This is one of my favourite Green Day songs just because it has a great intro, the lyrics are good and the tune is cool, there is nothing wrong with this song and it kick ass

She

A crappy song which I think shouldn’t be on this album since there are better songs from the dookie album even chump is a better song than this one it is one to skip if you buy this album

J.A.R

I love the film Angus, it is corny but it is cool and this track is off the film and this track is amazing, it is one of the best on the album even though it was written by Mike Dirnt (Bass), the music is closely related to the sounds of Blink 182 but the lyrics have Green Day in them and I think this track has fought it’s way onto the album when it shouldn’t

Geek Stink Breath

This is one of the better tracks on the insomniac album, which is the most under rated album EVER, but this track shows that the album was good

Brain Stew

This song reminds me of more depressing times of my life but it is a good song, listening to it just reminds me of taking an exam and then getting K.Oed in the same night. GOOD SONG

Jaded

This track is way to fast and not needed on this album but the chorus is quite groovy and to be honest if you get caned then listen to this and your head will spin

Walking Contradiction

This song is my favourite off the insomniac album as it reminds me all about the two faced people out there who are liars and cheats just to make friends

Stuck With Me

Good song with a cool guitar, a great beat but hard to hear lyrics, this is the only other song off the insomniac album they could really getting away with putting on this album because the rest of the songs on insomniac they are pretty poor apart from ‘No Pride’

Hitchin’ a ride

We have moved onto the Nimrod album and this is a great track to start off with, it is a good song but Prosthetic Head and The Grouch could of taken it’s place

Good Riddance

This song as I have told you brought me to the revolution, the song it self has 2 different meanings, one is a boyfriend dumping a girlfriend for no reason and the second one is that the person singing it is about to commit suicide which is quite a negative way to look at this brilliant song but it is true LISTEN TO IT

Redundant

This song is okay and it reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time because I used to play on that game while listening to this, it reminds me off the water bits but every other nimrod track could of taken this ones place apart from the instrumental track

Nice Guys Finish Last

This is a cool song but NO IT SHOULDN’T OF BEEN PUT ON THIS ALBUM ALL THE REST ON NIMROD WERE A LOT BETTER THAN THIS TRACK, in it’s defence the song reminds me of pokemon the game ( Good game

Minority

This is the popular song off the Warning album, it is a cool song and it is better than another Green Day song, which is the same sort of style (cough, cough basket case). There is only one real floor to this song and that it repeats itself but apart from that it is great

Warning

The title track off the album of the same name, this song makes little or no sense but is more than groovy it is up there with KICK ASS and this spins you out if you try to understand what this song is about when wrecked

Waiting

The best song off the warning album and this single also didn’t sell as well as it should of but I am blaming that on the Garage industry with acts like So Solid Crew manipulating the little kids of Britain to make them think that they are bad boys when really they are just wanna be ganstas and if they came up against slipknot I think we all know who would be set alight, quite literally it would be so solid crew

Macy’s Day Parade

A depressive song but a heart felt one and once heard you can see why it got onto this album. It has more than a point to make and is more than relaxing to listen to than the sea and this makes it a great track

This album is amazing and this should become the start of the revolution lets make pop music unpopular and let’s turn Britain back into a nation of hard rock. If you want to be part of the revolution write a comment saying your against pop (Y.A.P)

((If you didn’t read this that means you are against the revolution and the only thing you can do to save yourself is to give me a Very Helpful, Okay then a helpful… an unhelpful… Please))
