Advantages: Fantastic soaring gameplay, brilliant music, great art style, a lot of replayability

. Controlling them with the analogue stick is a joy, although it is still enjoyable with just a D-Pad. Each character has an individual campaign made up of 3 unique levels, culminating in an identical end level. When the character lands in a dream-stage, they are robbed of all their dream energy except for the red kind denoting courage. The player is guided by an arrow above their head to an Ideya Palace where the titular jester, NiGHTS, is trapped. After merging with him, the player is free to set about recovering the orbs from Ideya Captures. Each dream is split into 4 sub-levels called 'Mares" which are cyclical paths you fly along in a 2-D plane through the 3-D environments. The player has a set amount of time (usually two minutes) to destroy the Ideya Capture holding the energy orb (one present in every Mare) and return it to the Ideya Palace ...

Nights Into Dreams - The Ultimate Sega Classic

Advantages: Orginality, fun, addictive,excellent musical score, interesting new concepts
Disadvantages: Too linear, a bit too easy, not graphically strong compared to other titles

Nights into Dreams..... What can I say? I was sixteen when this amazing experience of a game hit the shores of the UK, and was the most anticipated Sega Saturn game since the announcement of a 3D Sonic adventure (which the Saturn never got). The whole concept was original and a bit bizarre to say the least. When asked to describe Nights I simply say 'play it instead, it is easier and you won't be disappointed'. The announcement of Nights to the Saturn world was a much welcome one, since the 32-bit wonder was loosing out to Sony's baby, the Playstation. It was seeing badly or no converted ports of popular PSX games meaning the lack of 3rd party support was basically killing Sega's first attempt of a 32-bit CD ROM media based console. Softly into the Night Garden...

Advantages: Soft, cuddly, sweet, toddlers will love them
Disadvantages: None

Harry gets obsessed with things quite a bit, he's like his Daddy in that respect. His latest obsession has to be the new hit children's show on C-Beebies, In The Night Garden. They were THE must have toy for Christmas, but luckily Harry wasn't into it then, so I didn't have to Toys R Us at 1am to get a bloomin' Iggle Piggle. But he had a bit of Christmas money left over so we decided to get him these as an extra little present. In The Night Garden, as I said, is the latest craze for toddlers all over the land. It consists of 5 main characters, Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, the Tombliboos and the Pontipines, who all live in the garden.
