The songs and tracks are superb and each one has it's own unique quality.
The opening, a sound that is repeated with impunity throughout the score constantly updating the audience as to what's going on.
I also love the tracks 'Agony' which highlights the plight ... ...and are both in the same potision (no being able to secure their loves!
There is a beutiful ballad 'Children will listen' and a rousing repeat from the Baker and Cinderella, sang to young Jack and Red Riding Hood.

As before it's not my place to descrie all the track, length of time and scoring, but it is just left to me to say, I would buy this and listen to this over and over and have done.
The good part is you can either listen to the soundtrack and decide if you want to see the show, or vice versa...they're both exceptional!!!
Please try it, well worth a listen...
Warning...it may be a step to loving Sondheim and there are plenty of his Score to listen to...over and over...

Quick review of Into The Woods - Stephen Sondheim
Into the Wood is probably one of Sondheim's more accessible musicals. From the title, a non-Sondheim showgoer or listener would probably think that this is a lovely, cute, nursery rhyme style show. It is quite the contrary. Fantastic score, very well performed in this recording, highly recommended. ...
