from the emergence of son to salsa to Latin Jazz and more. Born in 1919, González also retired from playing professionally years before this, his debut CD, was even recorded. He reemerged in 1996 when World Circuit stopped in Cuba to record for several days. He ended up making a thrilling debut. This impromptu CD was cut in a day, and its limber vibe shines for all its uptempo looseness. González plays a rainbow of Cuban rhythms and prods his percussionists and lone trumpeter to great depths of conversation and great heights of flash. --Andrew Bartlett

Advantages: Experienced.Cool. Pleasant personality Disadvantages: Lacks aggressive instinct
...Rubens Barrichello, a very popular figure on the Formula I circuit,is now driving for Ferrari who are,of course,a very competitive team. The Brazilian is burdened by having to shoulder Brazilian expectations of glory following the sad demise of the great Ayrton Senna. That a hard burden to shoulder for anyone.Essentially Rubens, who has driven for Jordan and Jaguar among others,is a mature, experienced, and competent driver. He is cool under pressure and probably has the temperament to be second fiddle to Michael Schumacher. It is no easy task being in the same team as that flawed genius. However, I suspect that at the end of the day the killer instinct is lacking and I feel that Rubens will be near to the top but will not quite make it all the way. Perhaps he is not really ruthless enough. Time will tell!...

...Ruben Blades was a Panama's singer with Salsa's songs that is a mix of huahuanco, son and mambo (all of them Cuban's music) with a Jazz being as musicians the form of this music as two part the first with some verse and at the end the chorus having the actual Salsa thisform. He recorded his songs with Wilie Colon Orquestra being famous at the seventies, having the characteristic that some of his song has more that 7 minutes being rare at this time because it couldn't recorded in a 45 RPM record.
About Ruben Blades' lyrics it don't talk about love talking about the politics, poor society , for example in "Pedro Navaja" Blades says about the New York night's life as a dangerous city or in "Plastico" talks about the American and the Latin families, and there are many example of it. That compositions are because at this time Blades was...

Advantages: Fair coverage, plenty of screen shots. Disadvantages: Not too sure of its target audience
...It's been many years in development and has filled thousands of column inches in the computer press but at last, Windows Vista is upon us. Windows Vista claims to be the most radical overhaul so far of Windows with many new features as well as toughened up security. Will the changes baffle people or be the best thing they've ever seen?
The author, William R. Stanek has over 50 books to his name and is also a series editor for Microsoft Press and is thus well placed to explain what's new and how it all works. At just over 280 pages it's a fairly slim book by IT book standards so how does it fair?
Introducing Microsoft Windows Vista is aimed at existing Windows users, administrators and developers and as such tries to be all things to all men. Alas it doesn't really offer enough for any one audience but as a taster of things to come...
