This album is one that the more it is listened to, the better is gets. With some CDs you get tired of the songs after listening to them over and over, not with Iowa. Due to there being 9 members in the band, there is plenty to listen out for, and new sounds can be heard every time. Although the lyrics can be difficult to hear the first time you listen, when you pick them up the songs all fall into place and are simply amazing.
Compared to the other 2 Slipknot albums, I feel that if it is pure Heavy Metal you are looking for then this is definately the album for you, with tracks such as The Heretic Anthem and Disasterpieces.
As outstanding and unique Slipknot are, this album is not intended for children, but is dine for teenagers and above.
Personally this was, although sounding cliched, a CD that changed my outlook on music, and gave me a chance to hear something different and led to me being a long-term fan.
