Oneills, basically I go to Oneills every weekend, most people only see Oneills as a bar, but the particular one here in Watford has a music room, and it totally rocks, it always gets packed, and no matter what on a Friday and Saturday night you can always guarentee their will be a que outside.
On a Saturday night Oneills have a top quality DJ called Tricky he is awsome, he certainly knows how to raise the roof, and get people drinking.
Theirs a few songs that he has changed some of the words to, to make them slightly more intresting, and everbody just knows the words.
Its kind of like a club to me and my mates, and we have noticed that the same crowd always congress down their week in and week out, but so many people are going back, which just shows its a quality place to go.

Having never been to an Irish bar in Ireland itself, I can only assume they have got it spot on. One thing I can assure you though, is that you won't be disappointed. This bar caters for all people, from weary daytimes shoppers, to anybody looking to sample the nightlife Madrid has to offer.
The bar itself often serves as a meeting point for ex-pats, and for that, English conversation is never normally more than a table away. The staff are also excellent, love to talk, and are very happy to help you, with any queries you may have.

O'Neills's bar is perfectly situated to be the ideal meeting and starting point for a night out. It is situated between the Big Market and the quayside. It is an ideal meeting place as it is near all the main access roads and opposite the central train station. Therefore, anybody arriving from all directions can find it easily and quickly.
The bar itself is not flash or pretty but yet caters exactly for the people who drink in it - people finishing work / people just starting on a night out. The beer is beautiful, strong and cold - just want you want in the above situations. It is not my favourite bar in Newcastle but for good beer and an ideal starting point it is perfect. ...
