Introduction:
Myself and the boyfriend were on one of our regular trips to Tescos this evening when I found myself wandering down the hair dye isle. Noticing that recital preference was on offer (2 for £10) I suddenly decided "I want to dye my hair!". The boyfriend looked at me disapprovingly, then said, "What Colour?"
"...I don't know" I replied, "Maybe dark brown?"
"How about red?" He suggested...
Now I'm not a big risk taker but "You'll look very sexy as a redhead" he said with a cheeky wink... and that swerved it for me.
Plus it was 2 for £10, if I didn't like the red I could go back to safe and normal brown. Marvellous.
The Price:
As I've already mentioned these were on offer, 2 for £10, which in my opinion is quite pricey but L'oreal are a good reliable brand and at a fiver each, it's not too bad. These usually ...

I can thoroughly recommend this hair dye for the nervous first time home dyer. The instructions are idiot proof ( I understood them!), the plastic gloves are easy to put on, thanks to a clever way they are attached on one side to the pamphlet so that you can simply slip your hands into them.
Mixing the dye is also easy as long as you remember to snip the top off as soon as you have mixed it so it can breathe! The smell is not too offensive, which makes a change from most of the top of the range dyes around, and it doesn't choke you! Even though recital don't claim to be able to lighten your hair, I find that my dark brown natural colour is given a definite lift of several shades if I go for a red shade, so much so that I would advise against the 'santa cruz' shade unless you really want an 'in your face' vivid red, certainly not in ...
