Advantages: Does A Good Job Disadvantages: Dangerous Around Children
The regular readers amongst you will know that this weekend I've been preparing a base for a shed. On Saturday (29/5/04) I measured up the area, and having lined it out with string went to remove the grass and top soil. The ground was rock hard, if I'd left it until today it would be OK as it rained last night here. Anyway, I didn't! Very early on I realised I was up against it, the grass wouldn't give at all and the little bit I got done was aggravating my back problem.
What to do, thought I? The light bulb and a pinging noise appeared above my head, I'll buy one of them garden claw things. Fearing the prices at B&Q I went to Felixstowe and looked in the cheapy shops, you know the ones, buy 50 batteries for a pound that'll only last as long as two normal batteries anyway. Hidden in the corner of one such shop was a garden claw ...
