As a big Iron Maiden fan, I was destined to love this CD. Their debut album kicks of with "Prowler", a fast rocker with gritty guitars and fast drums. Other memorable songs include the epic "Phantom of the Opera" (guess the time signature), the classic "Running Free" and the first in a four part saga about a London prostitute "Charlotte The Harlot". Follow ups - "22 Acacia Avenue", "Hooks In You" and "Here To Eternity".

And for the obsessive fans, notice that drummer Clive Burr's name is actually spelt wrong on the CD sleeve (not on newer re-released version) as Clive Durr! I would also reccomend the live version of "Phantom of the Opera" on "Live After Death" (LP, Cassette or re-released CD version only).

Oh yeah, and the artwork rules - rock on Eddie!
