...One.
But it is quite possible, likely, even, that you might know of some of the pieces of music composed by Eric Coates and just not have been aware of it. For example, on the CD that I am reviewing the musical pieces chosen are: The Dam Busters March, The Three Bears Suite, Youth of Britain, The man From the Sea, Calling all Workers, By the Sleepy Lagoon, London Again Suite (Oxford Street, Langham Place, Mayfair) and Music Everywhere.
The Dam Busters March is a stirring and evocative piece, originally composed for the film The Battle of Britain, though most of it was never used in the film.
The Three Bears Suite is a happy and jolly tune, with moments of quiet reflection countered by lively touches. Is it my imagination or have several other composers ruthlessly mined this delightful piece of music for their own uses...

Advantages: This is a live peformance Disadvantages: It's not a triple album
...on a vocal with a guitar lick to complete it.
2. Badge - written by Eric Clapton and George Harrison - This has been done many time by Eric
and he could play this in his sleep, he is surrounded with talented musicians and this song really
soars with excellent guitar solos. Badge shows how Eric covers the whole of the fret board with
his playing and the Bass is brilliant. David Sanchez is playing an instrument or attachment, I dont know what it is called but there is a fine solo using that instrument which requires a length of tube to the mouth connected to the keyboards, ends by fading the
last chords.
3. Hoochie Coochie Man - written by Willie Dixon - Back to the blues " Gypsy woman told my
mother, before I was born You got a boy child coming, gonna be a son of a gun" This Eric doing...

Advantages: It has every Maiden classic you can think of! Disadvantages: A few tracks which really shouldn't be on there.
...not a number, I am a free man!". Who could possibly forget these brilliant lines from the series? Maiden based this track on the series and even used these lines as a chorus. A good track, but I dont think is a Maiden classic.
Run To The Hills: Even the sad lonely pop loving softies have heard this track, and usually know the whole chorus. Anyone who doesn't recognise the lines "Run to the hills, run for you life!" is now considered a failure to society. Now used as Maidens finishing track, it has become the anthem of heavy metal.
Hollowed Be Thy Name: The last prayer of the imprisoned sinner, on his last day before execution. At least 7 minutes long, and plenty of time signature changes, this has also become a regular in Iron Maiden gigs. We also get to hear Bruce Dickinson holding on the word "low" for about 30 seconds or more. Fantastic...
