Advantages: Some classic material
Disadvantages: Generally weak

...?It Takes Two? came as the debut release from the Harlem, New York Hip Hop duo of Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock in 1988 and finds them coming to bring an album that uses its lead, and most well-known single as the title to it. Although the drop another two albums after, this was their most successful, and left them, essentially, as a one-hit-wonder act. 1. ?It Takes Two? They get things going with the heavy joint that all know them for as they go off on the Lyn Collins ?Think? break and go hard with it. It is a classic Hip Hop track and one that really sets things off well as you see that they get down to some material that can? really be matched when it comes to Pop Rap (Hip Pop) material as they go off with backing from the kind of material that seeped into Hip Hop through the New Jack Swing movement in R&B. **Four Stars** 2. ?Joy... Review of Here at the End of the World We Learn to Dance - Lloyd Jones by  fizzytom

Advantages: Evokes Argentina well, coming of age element well written
Disadvantages: Fails to evoke the sensuality of tango, imbalance in story

...disappointingly little. Pared down to the minimum "Here at the end of the world we learn to dance" consists of two romances running side by side. When Rosa decides to take charge of Lionel's dance training herself she becomes his teacher in other matters too. As for Lionel he becomes obsessed with this 36 year old married woman and the more he learns about the tango the more he falls for Rosa. The romance between Louise and Schmidt is rarely referred to directly but we learn all the details of the relationship between Rosa and Lionel. This is a shame because while I thought that Jones depicted this affair between a young man and an older woman with great skill and humour, there was more potential in exploiting the one between Louise and Schmidt. You'll Take It and Love It!

Advantages: Funny, will make you laugh out loud

...I am quite a fan of the Little Black Dress series of books, so I decided to have a browse on Amazon for ones which sounded like a good read. I came across this one after a while, and it had rave reviews. Also, on a book forum I am a member of, they couldn't recommend it highly enough to me so I decided I would have to get it to have a go. And as usual, the book didn't disappoint! "She'll Take It" tells us the story of Melanie Zeitgar, a woman living in New York City with dreams of becoming a world famous actress. But Melanie has a downfall...she has a penchant for stealing things. Not enormously expensive items you understand, just the odd sweater from Barneys or the odd pillow from the Homewares shop. But Melanie can't stop, even when a man comes into her life whose job in life is to help shops detect thieves. Will he suss out... Read review
