I discovered I was able to listen to White bird and Bulgaria at real one player. It was good to go back down memory lane. I imagine of all the songs on this LP you may have heard White Bird. It has a haunting sound.

I think White Bird was released as a single. This music is good very laidback listenable to god on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Listen to the lyrics and chil out . The intro is fairly boring, and is in Swedish! This can only be expected though as the concert was held in Sweden! I?m not sure what the announcer says, but its something about Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Rodger Taylor and John Deacon!
It?s A BeautifulDayIt?s a beautifulDay is a lovely start to the CD. It is sung by only Peter Johansson! His voice is so soft in this! He starts of very slow and soft with some really good piano music in the background which slowly is joined by drums and guitar!

A last slice of Queen for the masses. We all wondered how they could manage it and we all desperately wanted something more from Freddie. It was a bleak time for Queen fans. Then it was announced that there was an albums worth of unreleased material. Woo Hoo!!!!
This album is a mixture of old tracks from solo projects that have been given a Queen revamp and new gems. The knowledge that Freddie was dying makes this a very poignant album, with all the lyrics changing meanings as you listen. It's a competent Queen album and has royalty seeping from it's pores. It's also good to hear Freddies versions of some old favourites... Now if only we can get someone to release his 'New York, New York' from Highlander

It's A Beautiful Day: Patti Santos (vocals); Hal Wagenet (guitar); David LaFlamme (violin); Linda LaFlamme (keyboards); Mitchell Holman (bass); Val Fluentes (drums). For years, this album was best known for its beautiful cover, a Maxfield Parrish-style pastiche which regularly shows up in collections of the best album covers of all time. The lilting, quiet folk-rock of this San Francisco band, led by David LaFlamme's swirling violin and Patti Santos' soaring vocals, was out of favor for quite some time, but latter-day fans of Belle and Sebastian, Nick Drake, and the Grateful Dead's rustic Americana period have discovered the gentle, calm feel of this classic of light psychedelia. Starting with the majestically wafting "White Bird," an early high this band unfortunately never quite matched again, LaFlamme, Santos and company create an appealingly drifting, almost narcotic bliss. Of the other excellent tracks, the sultry "Wasted Union Blues" is a particular highlight.
