It’s a beautiful day so what better Album to review than It’s a beautiful day by it’s a beautiful day.
Sadly I do not have this on C D and am too lazy to look upstairs to see if we still own the L P. But trawling through the music listings I notice this category and now as I sit here the song the tune and words to white bird are going through my head, so let me tell you all I know and remember about it’s a beautiful day.
The cover album a beautiful day sky blue with white fluffy clouds rolling past with a woman standing on a rock her skirt gently blowing in the wind.. George Hunter one of the original Charlatans painted this album cover.
The band it’s a Beautiful day formed in 1967 and It’s a beautiful day was their debut album released 1969 It’s a beautiful day is a mix of folk and progressive psychedelic rock.

It’s a beautiful day did not make many L P’s in this format as David and Linda split in 1970. David remarried another Linda . Sadly Patti Santos is dead.

I discovered I was able to listen to White bird and Bulgaria at real one player. It was good to go back down memory lane. I imagine of all the songs on this LP you may have heard White Bird. It has a haunting sound.

I think White Bird was released as a single. This music is good very laidback listenable to god on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Listen to the lyrics and chil out . Now there's a real blast from the past indeed, White Bird was a stunning track for its time, I had this album on Vinyl all those years ago. Nice easy to read and helpful music review as well.........Roy
