Advantages: Clever political songs with great hooks Disadvantages: Sweary, bit samey for the non-punk fan
...a pretty strong intro track with some good guitar riffery and double-time drumming leading into a pretty standard tune. No verse-chorus-verse structure, more like a rant set to music.
#2 – Head? Chest? ør Foot?
A nitty-gritty anti-establishment song, another stream-of-consciousness style song, more like a polemic than poetry. It’s fairly obvious that, this being a punk CD, you should except copious swears and “adult situations”. They’re not spread too wide-rife but if you’re easily offended – why buy a punk CD? >:) Great central riff in this song, but nothing else to set it apart as a strong contender for the finest track.
#3 – HATE, MYTH, MUSCLE, ETIQUETTE
This is my favourite. “We need a good kick in the ass,” shouts Jesus H Chris, the lead singer (real name Chris, but let’s...

Advantages: 13 or so GREAT songs Disadvantages: not long enuf
...Mathbox 20 started with a great album that all soft rock fans had to like. It contained songs like 'Push' and 'Real World'. Its ashame that even after writing these songs they still haven't got much recognition. 12. Saturday (Oooh Oooh!) 7/10
- Another track that was released as a single, 'Saturday' is a song about the good things in life for Ludacris ("I got a big weed stash, cops just past, just seen a big ol' ass"). Not my favourite song on the album, but catchy none the less.
13. "Keep It on the Hush" 6.5/10
- A gospel-sounding song that begins with a preacher addressing his congregation, with Ludacris then bizarrely going on to talk about having quiet sex. Not the best lyrical content, the beat is good enough.
14. Word of Mouf (Freestyle) 7/10
- A freestyle with a beatbox backing, Ludacris displays some fine lyrical ability. For example:
"You think it's all practical jokes and big bloopers
But i smack bitches with no titties that work at hooters"
15. Get the Fuck Back 7...
