This album is pretty mellow stuff. Very 'garagey' in parts mixed with the essence of R&B. There are the tracks that are instantly recognisable (from the Charts) such as Re-Rewind (the only slightly irritating track on the album due to overkill by the radio stations!), Woman Trouble and Please Don't Turn Me On.
The well known tracks are mixed well with those you probably won't have heard before. It is extremely easy to listen to - an ideal background music. It also fits the purpose of a gentle pre-club warm up album (or post-club if you are still awake!).
This album is not going to be the best seller of the year - you really have to like the garage/R&B tunes to like this album. However, it is a really likeable album - whilst not stunning there is nothing really to dislike about it (apart from maybe Re-Rewind!).

Advantages: Several very well-known hits. Tunes rather than beats. David's pleasing vocals are easy on the ear, as are the songs. Generally hard to dislike. Disadvantages: Too samey at times. Cliched lyrics. Some more uptempo tracks would have been welcome.
