I received 'its all about the stragglers, for Christmas last year, because I happened to like 'woman trouble' and 'movin too fast', and I have to say I am well impressed with the rest of the songs (by the way, if you have a cd rom there is a bonus track (woman trouble, original version), grrreeaat!) I especially like the fact that there are songs sung by both the men and women in the band. An added bonus is that the woman singing twentyfourseven, sounds like Lauren Hill of Fugees fame, phenominal!
This is a must buy, especially for Artful D fans of single releases(and Craig David fans, as he sings the second track!). The cover design could be a little more interesting though!

babyxxgirl, it's a bit difficult to explain songs, especially when my opinion of garage is different to others'! However, I would say the album is a bit of soul, a bit of funk and a bit of garage!! It is both up-beat and down-beat i.e. some song are slow and some a bit more up tempo. Hope that helps! If in doubt, visit a large music store like Virgin or MVC, where you can listen to tracks via headphones.

Java, I know Melanie Blatt sings the song at present, but I really don't think it's her on the album. Personally, I think the woman on the album sings it better, but then I am biased because she sounds like Lauren Hill, and I love Lauren's voice, especially when she sang in a church in 'Sister Act'! Thanks for the comment anyway! (I'll feel a right chump if it is Melanie on the album! But I'm pretty confident it isn't).

Advantages: Several very well-known hits. Tunes rather than beats. David's pleasing vocals are easy on the ear, as are the songs. Generally hard to dislike. Disadvantages: Too samey at times. Cliched lyrics. Some more uptempo tracks would have been welcome.
