I got this for Christmas last year as I really wanted it. It all started quite a few months before Rewind was released. I was listening to Power FM, the local radio station based near Southampton, one night when I heard this funky, catchy track being played. I couldn't get it out of my head and I couldn't find out what it was called. Yes, it was Rewind, and that was when I turned to UK Garage to listen to. The other singles that were released (Woman Trouble, Please Don't Turn Me On) just left me wanting the album even more. So, Christmas morning came and I was delighted. It was constantly on in my CD player for months on end and I still play it lots. The new edition is out now, including an extra remix disc and the Melanie Blatt version of twentyfourseven. I think that anyone would like this brilliant album.

Advantages: Several very well-known hits. Tunes rather than beats. David's pleasing vocals are easy on the ear, as are the songs. Generally hard to dislike. Disadvantages: Too samey at times. Cliched lyrics. Some more uptempo tracks would have been welcome.
