It's All True - Witch Hazel Sound (The)

...Sister Hazel °°°°°°°°°°°°° Sister Hazel are a band from Florida U.S, and there music style blends Southern Rock, Alternative Rock, Ska and Folk Rock. Sometimes there is a slight modern country feel to the songs but then this is swept away by electric guitar, and then back on the acoustic. Sister Hazel opened up a homeless shelter in their hometown and they named the band after the lady they hired to run it, called sister Hazel Williams. The biggest credit that I can give to Sister Hazel aside from all their charity work etc is their epic universal likeability. When I have introduced people of my own age to Sister Hazel they have liked them and considered them age appropriate. ...Can B*Witched make a third no.1 in a row with this single? probably... The song, written for their parents, is beautifully crafted using the girls' trademark Irish sounds and the video is also spellbinding. Going for their first ballad this sees a new image for B*Witched, showing a more mature side, after the sucess of their self-titled debut album. The song features a beautiful middle section with Irish whistles and violins, as well as hand symbols. Neither CD features the video, although the B-side, and the mixes, are all good quality. An excellent CD to add to your collection this christmas.... Read review
