Advantages: Easy to get into. Cute graphics. Fun for casual gamers. Disadvantages: Lack of depth. Some games have finicky controls.
Long term fans of the Sims series from EA Games should have a pretty good idea of what to expect from this. MySims is the cuter child-friendly end of the franchise and particularly suits the casual gaming audience of the Wii; you don't need to micromanage your characters to keep their spirits up, but instead get on with solving problems for them in a more straight forwards fashion. The third in the series, MySims Party, crosses this with the already popular genre on the Wii of party games with somewhat mixed results.
The interface is fairly intuitive and you get to design your characters from plenty of options for hair, face, eyes, etc. It's like the Mii editor on steroids and you could quite easily sit down for half an hour and not get beyond this stage if you want to go through all the possibilities. The cutesy graphics avoid ...

Advantages: focuses on an event children can relate to Disadvantages: none

Advantages: Unexpected twist in simple tale Disadvantages: Far too short
Background:

Synopsis of the book:
Marion and David are very sad when their next-door neighbour Pat moves away, as over the years she had been a good friend to them. However the new ...
