Album Notes: On his second album, IT'S NOT FUNNY, actor/comedian David Cross (veteran of cult classics MR. SHOW and THE BEN STILLER SHOW) examines the rise of patriotic country songs as the United States prepared for war with Iraq, skewering the likes of Lee Greenwood with his acerbic satire. This sharply honed attack exemplifies a man with a quick wit who has become royalty in the kingdom of cutting-edge comedy. Cross is not explicitly a political comedian; however, as with the late Bill Hicks, his humor derives from wandering monologues that pick apart the ridiculousness and hypocrisy of society. Cross's every path just naturally strolls back to politics, and usually to the Bush Administration and the Iraq War. He's not a fan of either, to say the least, but while his attacks are pointed and fierce, the self-effacing, hyper-confident performer never falls into the trap of sacrificing comedy for rhetoric. With its relentlessly scathing humor, IT'S NOT FUNNY is nothing less than what Cross's devoted fans would expect.

Advantages: It's Bowie Disadvantages: Another version to buy!
...I feel I must say sorry to anyone who has read this already, for some strange reason my first posting for this album has moved to the wrong place so I am re-posting it sorry

This is only official audio record of one of the most theatrical and elaborate tours ever attempted by David Bowie in the 70’s.
As the front photograph of the album cover shows David Bowie had become ashen and painfully thin, his use of cocaine had become excessive and very obvious.
This 2005 reincarnation of this performance from the “Diamond Dogs” 1974 tour is a welcome addition to the live recordings of Bowie, this time the CD has a stereo mix which has been derived from the 5.1 surround mix which is available on the DVD audio version of this recording, which incidentally is a single disc so no having to change discs like this version, call me old...

Advantages: Good Music Disadvantages: Some weak tracks
...JaRule first came onto the 'celeb scenes' many years ago now but has only recently been noticed that much, I think J.Lo made a great impact on JaRule but he had been noticed before then due to movies he had starred in.
The album itself, the 3rd from JaRule now, 'PaIn Is LoVe' is absolutely amazing, definitely a personal favourite! There are 15 pure class tracks, some of which are beter than others but stil most of them are listenable which makes a good album to me! (Depending on the music you enjoy listening to!)
1. Pain Is Love (Skit) - This track is just an intro to the song, it is just over 1minute long and not really too interesting.
2. Dial M For Murder - A good impact on the start of the album but nothing too memorable or special. This is the first actual song on the album after the intro and it isn't that catchy, but this...
