Advantages: Some Classic West Coast Rap Disadvantages: One track holds it back
“It’s On (Dr. Dre) 178um Killa” came in 1993 from Eazy-E as an EP directed (as the title indicates) towards the fellow former N.W.A member Dr. Dre as he attempts to take the shine off his “Chronic” album and to establish himself as the person who really made things happen within ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Band’ by taking control with some disses hitting back at him after what Dre had done with Snoop on “Dre Day”.
1. “Exxtra Special ... .../> Here he throws down hard as he gets into the cold diss track that has responding directly to Dre, Snoop, Tha Dogg Pound and all else associated with them at the Death Row Records camp. It is banger and after bringing a sample from Above The Law, you see that he drops the funky bassline and gets loose with his hard G-Funk that you won’t be able to get enough of as he shows how he can take his out with B.G Knocc Out & Dresta and uses Dre’s past ... more
“It’s On (Dr.
1. “Exxtra Special Thanx” (Intro)
2. “Real Muthaphukkin’ G’s”
Here he throws down hard as he gets into the cold diss track that has responding directly to Dre, Snoop, Tha Dogg Pound and all else associated with them at the Death Row Records camp. It is banger and after bringing a sample from Above The Law, you see that he drops the funky bassline and gets loose with his hard G-Funk that you won’t be able to get enough of as he shows how he can take his out with B.G Knocc Out & Dresta and uses Dre’s past in World Class Wreckin’ Cru to show how he hasn’t got any real ‘hood credibility.
3. “Any Last Werdz”
Here you get a futuristic joint from the rapper as you see that he takes it to 1999 (a year that he would never actually see) and it sees that he goes off from some more of the funky stuff and shows how well he is able to compete with the progressive material that the likes of Dre, Snoop and others such as DJ Quik had brought whilst he still held on to the sorts of things that N.W.A. were known for.
**Five Stars**
4. “Still A N***a”
Joined by Rhythum D, this is a fly joint from him and sees that he gets the right backing with Cold 187um’s rhymes as he is finally able to come out with the goods to support the fly beats that he has come to bring himself to incorporate into his own work (after trying to dismiss it for a while). You can’t get enough of this material and it has him going hard in away that you just wouldn’t expect him to.
**Five Stars**
5. “Gimme That Nutt”
This one has him trying out something different as you find that her he comes out with a party tune that really shows how he is still capable of doing this type of thing (without losing his street cred0 as he is seen to come with what many are likely to criticise (for the misogyny), but you can get something out of once you hear the fly “Boy-in-the Hood” sample and you see the writing that has been provided for him too.
**Four Stars**
6. “It’s On”
Here he does more to take on Dr. Dre and Snoop as here as you see that Eazy is seen to directly jack from the “Nuttin’ But A ‘G’ Thang” synth groove and style of delivery that Snoop brought during the track as he lets them know how he is prepared to take them out by first doing more to diss Dre by referencing his early music and from here then goes on whatever he can about Snoop (which he doesn’t really seem to get much material on – other than his rhymes on Dre tracks).
**Five Stars**
7. “Boyz N Da Hood” (G-Mix)
In an updated version to the first N.W.A. track, this one sees that he goes back to 1987 and pulls it up to the time by giving it a G-Funk twist that suits the funky ways of them by ‘nine-trey (1993). It is hardcore joint and you see that he has the perfect grooves to suit some timeless rhymes that were written by ice Cube before N.W.A was even properly thought-up. You can’t top what you get from this joint.
**Five Stars**
8. “Down 2 Tha Last Roach”
The EP ends with another cheap diss towards Dre and from here you find that he basically does an extended outro to the thing by getting Dirty Red, B.G. Knocc Out, Dresta and Ash Trey to all join him as he does yet more of the futuristic material with some voice manipulation which seems to suit his mood as he gets zooted and comes out with whatever seesm right at the time to end it in a great way.
**Five Stars**
Although I can’t say that I took sides when it came to the beef, I must say that I felt that this was, by far, the best Eazy-E release of his career (beating even the unfinished final album that was brought out after his death) and before he could actually finish it). You get him backed by all the right people here to give him just what is required to make the most of his engaging, high-pitched voice to deliver the hardcore Gangsta Rap lyrics that suited the time perfectly (as you can forgive him for not writing his own rhymes when Dre didn’t either).
Advantages: distinct, original voice. Disadvantages: Only 8 Songs, one of them being the intro. Some lyrics might offend some people.
...Chronic', Eazy responded with It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa in late 1993.

Real MuthaPh***kkin G's- This song is the best on the album. It's a 'diss track' to Dr Dre and shows eazy's ... ...of women or 'bitches'.
It's On- This is another diss track towards dre and also Snoop Dogg. In the song Eazy claims that Dre wore mascara in his old group ( before N.W.A).
Boyz n Tha Hood (G-Mix)- A remix of N.W.A's boyz n tha hood. Down 2 tha Last Roach- I don't like this track. It's almost 8 minutes long and echoed by a computer generated voice. Worst track on the album.

Album Reviews
Melody Maker (6/3/95, p.37) - "...`Real Muthaphuckkin' Gs' is eazil-e his finest five minutes, the first vicious shot in the Dre/Eazy war...including a hilarious put-down of `anorexic' Snoop....One wonders why they never just got it over with and killed each other. But then we wouldn't've had such fun listening..."
