It's Only A Movie - Family (Rock)

Advantages: Lots of well known and likeable tracks
Disadvantages: Some tracks will make you cringe

Not really my cup of tea but if you want to listen to it, the stereo needs to be loud. 08: Starship - Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now Starship, having undergone a couple of name changes, have been recording for what seems like a lifetime. Lead singer Grace Slick must have one of the best voices of 60s/70s rock music and she is definitely on form on this track taken from the movie "Mannequin". 09: Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry Be Happy = Oh how I detest this record. This has a very reggae feel about it and sounds more like a novelty record. ...Drakes second album, and he still sounds as amazing as he did when i first heard him. He is one of the best artists out there, and although he may not be huge right now, some day he will be. If you havent already heard him sing, try him out, you will surely love his songs. If you havent heard him sing, the chances are you have seen him in a movie somewhere, or on TV, as Drake is also an actor (and a good one at that!). Google him and see exactly what he has done. The CD is great, and the songs on it are just amazing. Advantages: Daniel sings
Disadvantages: Can't buy in shops

...Even although Silverchair have been very quiet over the past year, their lead singer Daniel Johns has been busy in the studio working on something a bit different. Daniel has recorded 5 tracks with remixer Paul Mac. Daniel’s well known rock sound and Paul’s electronic influences merge together to make a beautifully atmospheric EP which they have called ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Rock’. The first song, ‘Rain’ has more of Daniel’s obvious guitar riffing coming through and ‘Take Her Out’ is the angriest of them all (more akin to Silverchair’s own ‘Spawn Again’). ‘Home’ and ‘Staging A Traffic Jam’ are more unusual – almost relaxing to listen to.
