So Good so weird

Advantages: Multi-Vitamins, extra Calcium
Disadvantages: Artificial taste, higher price than cow's milk

I am not usually very keen on modern foodstuff and drinks processed in food laboratory. However, I just could not resist the ?Try me free? offer from So Good that I came across in a supermarket. Okay, why not, all I risk is 19p stamp to send out my claim for money back. Unlike normal soya milk which is made of hulled soya beans, So Good is made from soya protein with added calcium and vitamins. Its maker, So Good International Ltd at Peterborough, tried to make it look and taste like natural dairy milk (You'll probably find them among fresh milk on the shelves). I was not convinced, so, I conducted the following tasting tests:- A cup of fresh coffee with So Good added: Incredibly the taste of soya had taken over the whole cup of coffee. its good so get the dvd

Advantages: funny, comedy with style
Disadvantages: none

As Good As It Gets is one of those comedies that doesn't try to hard to sell every joke. It certainly doesn't resirt to slapstick visual gags either. No what you get here is a great script with good characters, acting and some excellent one-liners. Jack Nicholson plays Melvin Udall, a novelist with an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Melvin is not a nice man, he doesn't mix his words as he offends everyone he comes into contact with. He has a gay neighbour Simon with a dog, the dog is a creature he loathes but when Simon is hospitalized he has to take the dog in after some intimidation by Simon's friend. The dog somehow mellows Melvin and when he starts getting involved in the life of his breakfast waitress Carol he really starts to be a decent human being although it's a struggle. So Far So Good

Advantages: Really delicious in cereal, keeps for longer than ordinary milk
Disadvantages: Does not taste so nice in tea & coffee

So Good is a soya alternative to regular milk made with soya protein, water and vitamins. In recent years soya milk has become popular with those who can?t or choose not to drink cow?s milk. Soya milk is suitable for vegans who avoid any animal produce, people who are lactose intolerant (lactose is a sugar that occurs in cow?s milk producing abdominal disorders in those who are intolerant) and those who have an allergy to cow?s milk (most common in young children). I am none of these things. I am part of the second group of people switching to soya milk. While I really enjoy regular semi-skimmed milk I have recently changed to soya milk in an effort to cut back on daily and because of the health benefits (outlined later).
