Full review
I bought this CD as soon as it was released, after watching the movie there were certain songs which stuck in my head and I had to have it! I know everyone's taste is different so I suppose it depends what you're into music wise. But as a grown woman with two kids I can say that it doesn't have to belong in a sweaty teenage boys bedroom (it can also be found bellowing through my car window whilst at top speed) Kidding!...about the top speed bit anyway!

But I love music and I've always been a bit of a metal head, so if you like what you hear after watching the movie then you obviously won't be disappointed as the soundtrack fits the tone of the film perfectly. So if you hate the film then this really isn't for you.

I think it's a good mix which covers a pretty wide scale from Elvis's 1968 track 'a little less conversation' to Slayers 'Spill the blood' (which I don't think will ever be on the same album ever again!)
But for the most part the songs stick to the modern age, it's pretty much a rock and punk soundtrack with a few exceptions such as Pavement's Indie hit 'Cut your hair' and the very heavy offerings from Slayer.

And the ladies aren't left out either, featuring 'Fly' from Cakecutter, 'F*#k the pain away' from Peaches and Karen O featuring Peaches for 'Backass'.
But a favourite of mine has to be Turbonegro 'All my friends are dead' and New Zealand's 'The Datsuns' with MF from Hell'.

Produced in 2006 by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, Spike Johnz and Ralph Sall.

Songs/Quotes include:
1. Johnny Knoxville (quote) - I'm going to the moon!
2. Smut Peddlers - If you're gonna be dumb
3. Three 6 mafia (feat Josey Scott) - gettin f------d up
4. Karen O (feat peaches) - Backass
5. Chris Pontius (quote) - I'm ashamed of myself
6. The Datsuns - MF from hell
7. Ehren Mcgehey (quote) - I'm going to die
8. Turbonegro - All my friends are dead
9. The Vandals - Urban struggle
10. Brandon Dicamillo - Your teeth look like
11. Cakecutter - Fly
12. Johnny Knoxville (quote) - Rectal bleeding
13. Peaches - F**k the pain away
14. Johnny Knoxville and bam (quote) - Are you crying?
15. Elvis Presley - A little less conversation
16. Pavement - Cut your hair
17. Chris Pontius - Karazy
18. Steve O (quote) - I need a doctor
19. Slayer - Spill the blood
20. Dave England (quote) - My ass hurts so bad
21. Josie Cotton - Johnny are you queer?
22. Roger Alan Wade - Sometimes I don't know if I'll make it
23. The cast of Jackass - The best of times

There are two songs sung by the cast members, the first is 'Karazy' sung by Chris Pontius (Party boy) who doesn't do a bad job really, but if you ever see the video to this track, prepare yourself for some naked dudes, the cast of Jackass get in the buff again for this one (not a pretty sight!) And the second is a whole cast performance for 'The best of times' which is a ridiculous show tune!
There are also many comedy quotes taken from the movie throughout the CD, which are guaranteed to make you smile. Well worth a listen.

But be warned, this soundtrack is labelled 'Parental advisory' as it contains explicit offensive language and if you're under the age of 15 or are easily offended this definitely isn't for you.

The soundtrack costs from £6.62 - £10.98 from Amazon.

Thanks for reading.
