Michael Jackson is Invincible

Advantages: The King,, Slash, Great album
Disadvantages: None

**Introduction** Michael Jackson has become a lot like Marmite with many people around the world over the last few years. Some either Hate him or Like me Love him. (Or rather his Musical legacy). With all the bad press I thought we should focus on something positive and With his huge upcoming stand at London's 02 Arena coming up I thought it was time to review the album that is freshest in the memory of Michael Jackson fans and that album is of course his 2001 album Invincible. **Invincible** It's been eight years since Michael Jackson released this album and that makes his previous gaps between albums seem like an artist who releases an album every year or year and a half where it has always been around four years apart from 1997's Blood on The Dancefloor after 1995's History. Invincible was released by Epic Records and features ...

Michael Caine Is Harry Brown

Advantages: Gritty British thriller
Disadvantages: A bit full on at the end

If you followed the career path of Michael Caine you might well wonder what happened, from being crowned the King of Cool in movies such as Get Carter, Alfie, and The Italian Job; Caine almost dropped out of the popular movie genre. During the 80?s and 90?s with the odd exception (Educating Rita, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The forth Protocol) his movies were generally bottom end stuff, most of his output in this time is available on super low budget DVD. For Caine however age made him turn a corner, and as the star tentatively spoke about a cameo in popular soap Eastenders, his movie career took of in ways he possibly never realised. With two Batman movies, Children Of Men, and the highly acclaimed Is Anybody There? Behind him Caine now returns in his intriguing movie yet, Harry Brown. Harry Brown follows a history of popular vigilante ...

Review of Harry Brown

Michael Jackson's Thriller

Advantages: Great songs, talent, highly skilled voice, excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: You might not like Michael Jackson

There is no other album like Michael Jackson's Thriller even after 25 years it still remains a class above the rest in my opinion. Michael Jackson's Thriller sold in excess of 27 million copies in the USA and Michael Jackson received a ground breaking eight Grammys and 12 nominations in 1984. The album is highly polished and has an excellent sound quality. The album produces a style that is unique to Michael Jackson which has a great dance atmosphere and has a good blend of percussion and keyboards. Tracks like "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" are part of this influential album. I love the way Michael Jackson's Thriller captures you into a world of make believe as the music slows down and picks up throughout the album. No two songs are the same. The beat in each song is fantastic giving a good blend of variation throughout the album ...
