'Jagged Edge' is the fifth album from the American R&B group 'Jagged Edge' who are also one of my favourite R&B groups of all time...
This album was released in 2006 and has a number of the group's most popular tracks like 'So High', 'Good Luck Charm', 'So Amazing', 'Seasons Change' and 'Stunnas'.

...and 'Stunnas'.
Jagged Edge are well-known for their slow ballads and this, like all their other albums has a good selection of RnB ballads.
The album starts with an 'Intro' which is a simple harmony with the guys' voices blending nicely against a slow piano background and it sounds like an acapella version for 'Ghetto Guitar' as it picks some of the lyrics from it...
This flows nicely into 'Ghetto Guitar' the ... ...chilled out track with good lyrics 'Ghetto as you are, you are my superstar' and it is just basically about a guy liking someone, doesn't matter if they are from the ghetto, he likes them for who they are and they are beautiful regardless..

This flows nicely into 'Ghetto Guitar' the first track on the album... 'Ghetto Guitar' is a slow chilled out track with good lyrics 'Ghetto as you are, you are my superstar' and it is just basically about a guy liking someone, doesn't matter if they are from the ghetto, he likes them for who they are and they are beautiful regardless..
'So High' is the third track on the album; one of the more popular ones and one of my faves with the slightly upbeat background combined with the lovely lyrics: 'I'm feeling so high since I met you, been on cloud 9 since I met you, the love of my life; since I met you I'm so high, don't wanna come down...'
Was not too keen on the 'Watch You' chorus at first but it is one of those tracks with well-written lyrics... Another smooth ballad, slightly upbeat beats in the background; It's one of those good bedroom ballads that JE are famous for.. 'I can just watch you, from the shower to the bed, I can't help but stare, uh-uh you do not need a towel you can stand right there and I can watch you, I could record you, rewind you...' you get the drift..:)
'Hopefully' is another ballad with beautiful lyrics. It has great lyrics with a slow winding soundtrack. The guys harmonise well in this track and the chorus is lovely to listen to. It's about love and relationships; the story line I get is that the couple have broken up and it is for the best..some words are kinda unclear in the chorus so I am even not entirely sure lol:)
'Get a Lil' Bit of This' is one of the more upbeat tracks on the album and not my personal favourite, didn't really pay much attention to it as I find these guys are much better at the ballads but beat is good, you can dance to it, it can be a club hit and I like the chorus.
'Crying Out' - I am not too keen on although it is a slow one, sounds unique, good lyrics again but I just wasn't really into it.. It features 'Bad Girl' on the chorus and is ok on the whole.
'Good Luck Charm' is one of the four singles off this album. It's a beautiful track. LOVE the lyrics and the chorus and if you see the video, you'll like it even more.. It is another slow ballad, about love and relationships: 'I got so much love for you in these arms, don't you know that you're my Good Luck Charm...' It's a catchy tune, great single and it was hit when it was released.
'Stunnas' is one of the other singles off this album. Again I am not too keen on upbeat tracks for these guys, lyrics are ok , it features their record label producer 'Jermaine Dupri' and was an RnB club hit back then.. 'Stunnas' refers to their shades going by the lyrics and video which is an interesting one, this one would appeal more to the younger, club-hopping generation..:)
'So Amazing' is a slow ballad with a bit of a twist as it features 'Voltio' and has a lot of the latina influence with the background soundtrack and on some of the intervals and the end. Not for me but may appeal to some with the upbeat dance feel to it. 'Season's Change' is another single off this album and it also features one of RnB & Soul's legends - 'John Legend', the piano background on this one is beautiful combined with good vocals. Have to admit it is a bit boring for me but can see why some may like it - lyrics...
I am going to skip commenting on 'Questions' and 'Sexy American Girls' (they're ok..) will skip right on to my favourite track on this album...
'Baby Feel Me' is the 14th track on this album and is the best track on this album in my opinion. It's catchy right from the beginning of the track with the smooth start... It is a beautiful RnB track, more of a bedroom ballad about love-making. The lyrics are well-written and 'hot' and rather enjoyable as well as the slightly upbeat soundtrack is.. When I listened to it the first time, I played it another four or five times, simply hooked and when I listen to this album again it still stands out..
The last two tracks are 'Who U Wit?' and 'A** Hypnotic'; not too keen on & the last one especially, they're ok...and end the album with a slightly upbeat then more upbeat tune you can dance to.
On the whole, a good album - a number of outstanding tunes. Fans of the group will really enjoy this album and RnB, Soul, Hiphop fans will enjoy it too; think some tracks may alienate the average listener not in these two categories but listen to it a few times and pay attention to the lyrics and you'll know why we like JE!

jaggededge are a very underrated group in the Uk, maybe because they havent really released many singles out here, but none the less they are up there with the likes of boys II men.
ever since boys 2 men, there hasnt been any RnB bands since.. to really make you wanna listen to their music, one thing about jaggededge that makes them shine out, like a pretty penny, is their amazing vocal ability, truely a breath of fresh air.
JaggedEdge consists of Members Brian, Brandon, Wingo and Kyle. You may suprised but they have been in this music game for awhile, since 1997!, yep it takes awhile to get recognised in this music game, and it might be true that some of you still are not familiar with the works of jaggededge. but if your a RnB Head like me then you mostly probably have and if not....then where HAVE BEEN!.

'Baby Making Project' is another great album from one of my Favourite RnB groups - JaggedEdge.
It is the 6th album from the group released in 2007. I always look forward to the JaggedEdge albums and this one was no exception; I was pretty intrigued when I heard the track and watched the video for 'Put a Little Umph In It' which was the main single off this album and featured Ashanti.
The lyrics for 'Put a Little Umph In It' are rather interesting and it is one of those thought-provoking ones and yet the subject is obvious as often is with the JaggedEdge tracks and it is another one of their love ballads/love-making tracks that they are rather good at making.
The album has 11 tracks; it begins with a good intro with a mixture of snippets of the groups' most successful tracks from previous albums as a nice reminder of why we ...

14. "Let's Talk About It" (feat. The Clipse)
The Neptunes get on this one, and to be honest, they were far from their best form with the prodcution as they come up with something pretty weak, but I thought that it was all forgotten about by the time you heard The Clipse's Pusha T, who works his way in before the other member jumps on an JD gets a chance. You have a minor role taken by Pharrell in it, and it aids it all along.

15. "Yours & Mine" (feat. JaggedEdge)
JD gets some hot club beats from Swizz Beatz, and with this he chooses to get JaggedEdge to assitsr him as he does a track all about his relationship with a girl. He goes from the early days of meeting her, up to what it has all become today.
