So she tends to be a bit of a winge bag with 'issues' - so what? After owning her album for many years, a few select songs still to this very day make a well deserved appearance on my ipod which in turn, gives me the opportunity to sing (shout) the hard hitting words, enabling me to let of steam or simply scare my beloved 4 legged little friend back into his dog basket. Madonna did well in signing Alanis to her record label! I'm sure she's still reaping the financial rewards to date. And who really cares that no-one heard very much from her after her first album 'Jagged Little Pill'? You don't actually NEED anything else from her when this album says and does it all. Hand in my Pocket still sums me up (and many other friends of mine) in such a succinct and ironic way that we still sing along!
