Luciano never disappoints

Advantages: Very rich in styles
Disadvantages: Some songa a little too gloomy

"One way ticket" is Luciano's fifth album, released in December of 1995. This album was his first on the VP label, which preceded many others. Track listings 1. "Black Survivor" - Has a very catchy chorus with uplifting verses to a very bassy beat. (4/5) 2. "Chant Down Babylon" - The chorus and the melodies of African drums is by far the best aspect of this song. (4/5) 3. "One Way Ticket" - My favourite song on the whole album. Even though the chorus and verses all have a very conscious message, Luciano's extraordinary vocal skills just captivates the listener. (5/5) 4. "Ragamuffin" - refers to the hardships of the times, with a sort of 'old skool" feel to it even for the 90's! (3/5) 5. "Bounty Lover" (with Lady G) - A classic love song featuring Lady G. Her dancehall style lyrics actually complement Luciano's singing ...

Easy to Navigate

Advantages: A decent introduction to Cussler
Disadvantages: Not always historically accurate

and there were a couple of surprises, including a delightful little twist late on that kept things going a little longer just when I thought they were about to end. Cussler usually writes with flair and style and a breathless pace and ''The Navigator'' is no different. This was an enjoyable, if not terribly taxing read and if you're a fan of adventure style thrillers, you can't usually go wrong with Cussler generally. The scope of the story and the number of characters he plucks from various places would probably make this a good introduction to his work if you don't mind feeling a little out of the loop at a couple of point, especially as it's available from 24 pence at the Amazon Marketplace or from 40 pence on eBay. Review of The Navigator - Clive Cussler

These is My Words - An unforgettable story of time and place

Advantages: Unputdownable and the author is working on a fourth
Disadvantages: It eventually comes to an end

These is my Words is the first book in a trilogy. Books two and three are titled Sarah's Quilt and Star Garden. I warn you now, you'll enjoy These is my Words so much that you may as well order all three together. Why I am recommending this book: Late last year I was browsing Amazon and clicked on one of those links where other customers discuss their favourite books.
