Jah Shaka Meets Mad Professor At Ariwa Sounds - Jah Shaka
Additional notes
Album Notes: Recorded in 1984.
Album Reviews: Alternative Press (10/96, p. 103) - 5 (out of 5) - "...this is a landmark album of British dub, and this still stands its own ground next to any dub recording from any period..."
Advantages: It's emphasized loss of time and space Disadvantages: Head hurts after listening more than 77 times
...Maybe indi-rock makes you hide inside you nicely depressed. Frank Zappa steals your reasonable thinking and starts you to shiver or Syd Barrett is just too neuroleptic for the afternoons.
Well, I like mine shaken yet stirred Mr. Bond!
It does not get more anti-frenzy than "Full circle", hmm unless you lay naked beside your woman (regardless if you are male or the opposite) with a chilled bottle in one hand and free of dreams in the other...
It starts off with horizontal waves of the 80's, a recognizable sound of that small era. "How much are they?" It's a weird rock-pop with no trouble at all, it's a Hollywoodish kind of pop synthesizering.
Aha just wait, it continues with the essential question: "Where's the money?" and the pop becomes a poppy filed of broken sounds in serially ordered bloody Stockhausen disco tempo...

Advantages: Some Great Tracks Disadvantages: Some Poorer , less well lyriced tracks...
...!!!...
Track Number 12 - Instead Of Falling
This song has that elctronic sound at the beggining which is my most favourite music effect for some reason. It is just an original sound...
The lyrics in this song are very good and this song is a great way to end a good album.
The most memorable lyrics in the song is the chorus...
" Instead of falling in love
I just fall
Instead of falling in love
I just fall
Instead of falling in love
I just fall
Your name to en empty ear
As you disappear"...
These lyrics remind me of when i had someone close to me who i was in love with , who moved away when i needed them the most , i kept wishing that they would come back but they didn't...
This song has a sort of vocal indian touch to it. It reminds me of the kind of music you would get from K - Jah radio from one of the Grand Theft Auto...
