Advantages: a good starter in to rock etc and some of the bets bands songs included Disadvantages: some songs are bad
...THE MARIX SOUNDTRACK
This was the first ever metal/rock music album i got and thanx to this soundtrack i now have a good taste in music. It has some well nown bands like marilyn manson, prodigy, deftones, and rage against the machine. And the un-nown bands are propellerheads, ministry, rob d, meat beat manifesto, lunatic calm, rob zombie, hive, monster magnet and rammstein. For some strange reason from what i can remember you dont ever hear any of these songs in the film. Tracks nine upwards i think are the best in the album. As i bought this album ages ago when it first came out it has got a bit boring but if you want o hear what metal or rock is like the i recomend this album to you!!!!!

Advantages: original, in my opinion Disadvantages: can't think of any!
...Streetlight Manifesto, the seven-piece ska/punk band formed from two underground bands in the New Jersey ska scene bring forth Everything Goes Numb, their debut and only album (to date).
As I've said, Streetlight Manifesto are a ska band, in that many of their songs are led by a brass section, with quite prominent bass guitar, and using rhythm guitar (upstrokes on the off-beat) only rarely. Whilst most ska bands often play ridiculously happy and upbeat songs with brainless lyrics, the Manifesto's songs have more of a dark edge to them, the sound itself feeling a bit more dangerous, and with more thoughtful and personal lyrics.
Everything Goes Numb, an album just shy of an hour, features the following twelve songs:
1. Everything Went Numb
